Ah, the joys of writing the first post on a blog.
It's a bit like talking to yourself, which is a good thing in my case, as I like the sound of my own voice.
The "First Blog Post" will probably get sought out by readers who discover the blog some time later, thinking to themselves, "I wonder how bad the first post was?" - well now you know - as bad as the rest of them ....
